The SP1 Defender Wearbar (Part WB-000-614) is designed to enhance the durability and performance of Yamaha snowmobiles, including models such as the Yamaha VK 540 III, Bravo LT, and Enticer II LT. Crafted with a 7/16-inch carbon steel host bar featuring a flat top, this wearbar minimizes “bar roll” during aggressive cornering, providing better control and stability on the snow. The carbide segments are made of YG13 tungsten, offering exceptional tensile strength, extreme hardness, and resistance to chipping, which extends the wearbar’s lifespan. The 90-degree angle of the carbide into the pocket of the runners creates larger cross sections, resulting in increased durability and effective snow clearance. The 1-inch carbide segments provide flexibility in the ski without compromising adhesion, ensuring reliable performance across various terrains.
