Mid-USA 2 Gallon Wassell-Style Peanut Gas Tank

• Threaded ports to accept either 3/8″ petcock or 1/4″ petcock

  • High tunnel tank is 2″ deep at the rear, increasing to 6″ at the front; the lobes of the tank will straddle your backbone; 2 gallon capacity
  • Mid tunnel tank is 2″ deep at the rear, increasing to 4″ at the front; the tank will sit (obviously) between the High and Low tunnel versions; 2.1 gallon capacity
  • Low tunnel tank is 2″ deep; the base of the tank will sit approximately even with the centerline of your backbone; 2.3 gallon capacity

Though these tanks are pressure tested from the factory, pressure testing before applying filler or paint is standard practice. If needed, you may elect to seal with a tank sealer before painting. For the same reason, we encourage thorough, solid mounting—stress on the tank or mounting hardware will eventually lead to cracks.
