The ICON Ultraflite™ Helmet in Opal Mandala features a handcrafted fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) composite shell designed for optimal strength while maintaining a lightweight profile, providing enhanced protection without sacrificing comfort. Equipped with the innovative MIPS® safety system, this helmet offers superior impact protection by reducing rotational forces during a crash, making it an ideal choice for riders prioritizing safety. The helmet’s intermediate-oval head-form fit ensures a comfortable and secure fit for a wide range of riders, complemented by a premium comfort liner constructed with moisture-wicking Hydradry™ and Ax®Suede, which work together to keep the rider cool and dry during extended rides. The inclusion of emergency release cheek pads allows for quick and safe removal in emergency situations, adding an extra layer of safety and convenience.
The ICON Ultraflite™ features multiple oversized intake and exhaust ports that facilitate excellent airflow, helping to keep the rider cool in various riding conditions. The helmet is equipped with a quick-change fog-free Ultrashield™ with side plates, ensuring clear visibility in diverse weather environments, while the removable molded breath deflector and chin curtain allow for customized ventilation and comfort. The recessed twin channel supervent cooling system enhances airflow efficiency, further contributing to rider comfort. The helmet includes a clear Pinlock® prepared shield to improve clarity in extreme conditions, with the Pinlock® insert lens sold separately. For communication needs, the helmet is upgradeable to the HelmLink™ Bluetooth® system, sold separately, allowing seamless integration with communication devices. Additionally, it comes with a dark smoke fog-free Ultrashield™ for versatile riding conditions. The Dropshield Ultra™ visor, designed solely for use with the main face shield in the fully closed position, offers added protection and visibility.
