The Forever Rad Saddlebag Brackets for Indian baggers are a thing of beauty.  We have poured a ton of thought, engineering, and testing into these, and they are by far the most unique and also the strongest brackets on the market with endless customizing capabilities.

These brackets will also help firm up your lids so they close and latch much better! If you own an Indian, then you know exactly what we’re talking about.

This kit has been thoroughly tested on the racetrack and the road in every combination you can think of, on numerous bikes since January 2025. It is bulletproof!

Our included solid billet replacement spools are compatible with all tour packs and backrests as well, while using OEM plastic docking sleeves.  The brackets are solid aluminum and can be run raw or powder-coated, cerakoted, polished, chromed, or anodized.  They allow the use of an OEM lower subframe, a Toce lower subframe, or if you are running a short pipe, remove your lower subframe altogether!   

They are fully isolated and mount to your OEM upper subframe. This kit also replaces your OEM bag spools, and do not depend on lower exhaust hangers.  This means you can also use them with any exhaust pipe on the market as well!

FITMENT

These will only fit the style of bags that are pictured on the instructions, which are found on the Power Plus models and some Chieftain and Springfield models.

 

****SPECIAL NOTES!!***

-Electronic preload shock bikes WILL need to space your preload adjuster inboard towards the wheel for extra clearance on the rail to the preload adjuster. This is done by using a spacer and a longer 6mm bolt. As of 4/1/2026 we do include the spacer & lonber bolt with every hardware kit.  Contact us for detail if you need help.

-This kit requires drilling holes in your saddlebags. 

-Fender filler closeouts CAN still work with these, but will need some minor trimming done to the lower panels to clear the rear bag rail.. 

– This kit allows you to raise and lower your bag within the OEM slotted hole in the bag. 

-It does not allow you to raise your bags higher than OEM ( i.e., 1-2″)

-We will not be held responsible for any damages you incur during or after installation due to negligence.   

*If you’re running carbon fiber bags, our rails must be modified slightly to work, due to material thickness, this is easy to do with a simple angle grinder and will not be visible when installed to the bags* Also, you may want to shorten the hardware so it doesn’t protrude through the backside of the rail. This kit is designed for the thickness of an OEM plastic bag but does still work very well with carbon fiber bags.
